Another day, another enjoyable time to spend my afternoon from work.
The ferry ride was lovely as usual. The sun was not so bright. And the weather is just pure delight ...
I saw this Buskin and Robbins Ice Cream, I was told this is American? Yes, I helped myself with a small cone of Raspberry flavour. It is also as yummy as the Danish Ice Cream.
Then, I took my leisure walk to the Opera House which is just an arms' length from the Circular Quay, took some photos including the Sydney Harbour Bridge.
I will post some tomorrow if I get the time. I climbed up and went inside to the Info Desk and collected lots of pamphlets of the up coming programs.
I booked for myself to see the Copenhagen Royal Chapel Choir, one show only which will be on May 1st. I am enthralled at the prospect of watching them and I am also excited that at last I can do things like this which I found it impossible to do before.
This will be my first time to sit down inside the Opera House Performing theatre. There is a tour service there that will take you around the Opera House. I'll arrange that for another day.
Then I saw a Bistro with people eating, so I satisfied my curiosity to find out what food they were serving. I joined the queue and ordered for the Beef Bourguignon served on top of mashed potato.
I left the wine out because I have Sweet Sherry at home. So a cold glass of water suited me fine to go with the meal. Hmmm, that was so yummy. I complimented the servers there after consuming the last morsel.
The meat was tender and I think it was cooked in red wine with mushroom and finely diced carrots served with a fine sprinkle of chopped chives.
The afterglow was soft when I went outside. And the symphony orchestra performers were outside bidding for their time to get inside. All men were in their black formal suits and the ladies were looking elegant in their black long gowns.
It was yet another memorable day for me. Some pictures below to share.

Those people upstairs in blacks were the Sydney Symphonic Orchestra Members who played the William Vaughn's concert that night.
