Her life is still unrecorded. Unlike what I did to my two children. So I am taking initiative. My Grand-daughter on her First Birthday!
At two and a half-months
Take a sprinkling of fairy dust,
An angel's single feather,
Also a dash of love and care,
Then mix them both together.
Add a sentiment or two,
A thoughtful wish or line,
A touch of stardust, a sunshine ray...
Its a recipe, for a Baby Girl truly fine.

My Little Doll
She is my Angel
A sweet cherub I call
She smiles, she coos
She cries, she crawls
Now she blubbers
And she flatters me too.
In her cheeky gummy grin
Up her little arms
Wanting for a cuddle
And together we huddle.
She plays, she sleeps
She eats, she peeps
My day is never dull
Loving my little doll.

Now One Year Old!
The Celebrant
A living doll
We love so dear
With angel's charm
Our hearts she warmed.
Her smiles turn to laughters
At times she bursts into tears
When discomfort is sensed with fears.
My sweetest delight of my golden years.

Well, it has been quite a while I did not post anything about my family. Even my most important milestone when I turned 60 was left in the backburner.
Today, in spite of my daughter's request, as a first time Grandmother, I honestly find it very hard to resist keeping the pride in my heart. As you may notice, the last time, I updated a family news was around June when my daughter and son-in-law celebrated their First Wedding Anniversary.
Talking about First, I thought, it's about time I will re-introduce the baby bonus they gave me on my 60th birthday and update you what transpires all this time behind the scene of Motherhood on the part of my daughter and Grandmotherhood on my part.
I am certainly a proud mother to my daughter for bringing up the infant to where she is at this stage. My daughter is well and truly moulded as she fits in her new role in life as a wife, mother and daughter in the most natural fashion.
I continually watch her (my daughter) develop since birth while I'm still around and the bond of our relationship is now extended and stretch into her own family life with a husband and a baby. It's pretty intriguing and interesting. Of course, there's occasional hitches along the way but as what the saying denotes, "all's well that ends well."
The baby has brought us many interesting food for thoughts in her own right which she has no knowledge of. The process of education and learning about Motherhood, Parenthood, and Child Rearing and soon Childhood continues to the point of integrating the book tips, professional help and personal experience from everyday perspective.
As a Grandma, I could not complain. I told my daughter and son-in-law each time I am on my Nanny Duty that I don't mind Ten Babies of my grand-daughter's kind or clone to mind or look after. Why, she runs her life on a time-set programmed! In her wee infanthood stage, how amazing she can do what she does!
I would say according to my observation that she is the most cooperative baby to handle. She eats with gusto, she plays in her own quiet way, very active as she is showing some athletic potential someway, happy but with a bit of temper that is quickly hose down with tenderness and gentleness, loves a bath, goes to sleep on time after a minute of crying from tiredness ritual, loves books, friendly and one of the most unusual confident baby above many other adjectives I can speak about her.
I love our Own Moments: the baby and I. While we are alone on our own, she is Mine! Almost my third child, my third daughter. And I make the most of it to cherish her with fondness. She responds in the same wavelength. And that is very precious to Me.
The most rewarding of all is when she puts her two little arms around me and squeezes herself to me and presses her cheeks to mine for kisses.
I am most thankful for this very Unique Baby in my life. My blessing of joy on earth. She is the most loved baby in the whole wide world.
"A new baby is the beginning of all things - wonder, hope, a dream of possibilities." ~Eda J Le Shan
"If one feels the need of something grand, something infinite, something that makes one feel aware of God, one need not go far to find it. I think that I see something deeper, more infinite, more eternal, than the ocean in the expression of the eyes of a little baby when it wakes up in the morning and coos or laughs because it sees the sun shining on its cradle." ~Vincent van Gogh
